About KV RK Puram Sector-8, New Delhi

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector-8, R.k. Puram,New Delhi came into existence in salubrious environs in the month of September 1975 to provide an opportunity through quality education. A co-educational school with unity in diversity is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Students take the AISSE (class X) and AISSCE (class XII) Exam in the month of March every year.
KV RK Puram Secter-VIII is a Senior Secondary co-education school with approx 2100 in Shift-I and 1650 Shift II students and 67 qualified and experienced staff members First Shift and 56 in Second Shift . Ever since its inception in 1975, the Vidyalaya has made tremendous progress in all directions. Being a model school under the Model School Scheme of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, the Vidyalaya offers education through the latest techniques of computer and Internet.

This KV is up to +2 stage. It has 03 section in Science, 01 section Commerce and 01 Humanities at +2 level.

Its secondary Section building is compact one constructed on an seven acre piece of land. It has well equipped Computer Labs,Physics lab, Chemistry Lab and Biology Lab, Geography Lab, Mathematic Lab ,Junior Science Lab and a very rich library having different kinds of books. It has a separate spacious well maintained Primary Building and a sports complex.This Vidyalaya also have its own Audotirioum and Assembly Hall. This Vidyalaya has its own Fully air Conditioner with smart board and internet facility
